Smoky Valley Arts & Folklife Center will host its second annual Community Arts & Crafts Exhibition beginning June 17 through August 28, 2022. All area artists and craftsmen are invited to enter work created over the past year; however, they are not limited to that theme. All entries will be considered for exhibition.
Exhibition guidelines and entry forms are available at smokyvalleyartsandfolklifecenter.org or by stopping by the center at 114 ½ Main Street, Friday through Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. All entries should be delivered to the center between June 3-12 from 1- 5 p.m. or email svafc.ks@gmail.com to make arrangements for delivery.
A community reception for the artists is scheduled for Sunday, June 19 from 2-4 p.m. at the center.
Last year’s exhibition was a lively mix of traditional to contemporary art offering a glimpse at the unique ways in which each person pursues self-expression
The SVAFC Community Exhibition is sponsored by the Raymer Society, Kansas Creative Arts Industry Commission, Lindsborg Vacation and Executive Rentals, National Endowment for the Arts. SVAFC will host a reception for the exhibition, the date and time to be determined.
